This Privacy Policy outlines how mal.rextuz.com ("the Application", "we", "us") collects, handles, and protects information when you use our service.

1. Non-Commercial Status & Identity

The Application is an independent, non-commercial personal tool operated by Maksim Kanushin (rextuz@gmail.com). It is designed to assist users in browsing seasonal anime and viewing their MyAnimeList catalog.

2. Zero Server-Side Storage of User Data

In strict compliance with Section 3(c) of the MyAnimeList API License and Developer Agreement:

We do not store, maintain, or process any MyAnimeList user personal information, user lists, reviews, or forum posts on our server-side database or filesystem.
Data retrieved from MyAnimeList is fetched on-demand during active user requests and rendered directly client-side.
Session identifiers are held temporarily in short-lived, secure HTTP-only cookies in your browser and are cleared immediately upon logging out.

3. Authentication & Password Security

All authentication is conducted exclusively through the official MyAnimeList OAuth 2.0 PKCE flow. We never prompt for, intercept, store, or archive your MyAnimeList username and password credentials.

4. Information We Access

When you explicitly grant authorization via OAuth 2.0, the Application accesses:

Your public MyAnimeList profile username and avatar.
Your anime list status and scores (only to display them to you in real-time).

We do not share, sell, lease, or transfer your information to any third parties.

5. Data Deletion & Retention

Because we do not store your MyAnimeList data on any server database, disconnecting your session removes your authentication token immediately. If you wish to revoke the Application's access completely, you can do so at any time in your MyAnimeList Authorized Apps Settings.

6. Reporting Abuse & Contact
